Using technology to change prescribing

ScriptSwitch is an innovative software programme designed to make prescribing safer and more cost effective.

At the touch of a button, GPs and pharmacists have access to the latest information and official guidance to help them make sure you get the best medication, at the right dose and the right price.

The GP Consortium is currently piloting ScriptSwitch and evaluating how well it works. We would then like to roll the programme out to other GP practices in Sheffield’s inner city as part of our aim to improve healthcare for the patients we serve.
